TV Segment – Simple Makeup Techniques with Big Impact!

Every so often I am asked to appear on one of my local TV station’s daytime talk show to demonstrate makeup tips, products and anything else that is the theme of the moment.

I appeared as a guest this past Monday and shared with the viewers how to simplify their makeup routine.

We are often overwhelmed at the start of a new year with wanting to make changes and resolve to be better, have more, and be more… Well, I thought it would be a great idea to share with everyone how to make life simpler. Starting with your makeup routine.

I chose essential items {that fit easily into a small makeup bag} that will offer the most impact and create a really easy, beautiful makeup look.

Here is my already beautiful model from the segment, and you can see how simple makeup can really accentuate features and make you look and feel even more beautiful!

A list of my TOP MUST-HAVES!

1. Medium coverage foundation to be used all over the face and even under the eyes.

2. Blush/bronzer duo, makes it easy to apply a little glow and colour to the complection.

3. Eyeshadow, a brightening, light colour like vanilla will help make your eyes look awake and stand out!

4. Black eyeliner, can be applied lightly and smudged for daytime, then more heavily, and opaque for night.

5. Eyelash curler, make you lashes reach the sky and make your eyes pop!

6. Black mascara will create drama and depth and contrast to the light eyeshadow, your eyes will take center stage.

7. Lip pencil in a nude tone will give the lips definition and will stain them for longer than gloss on its own.

8. Lip gloss with a bit of colour, will make your lips look lush.

9. Handcream, I know it’s not makeup, but at this time of year, it’s essential!!

Easy, and really effective!!
